Adnams Bee More
Adnams Bee More is a campaign/ new label design for Southwold based drinks company Adnams. The brand has a rich heritage and a commitment to sustainability.
They wanted a campaign to make sustainability 'tasty', something that the public would find important and interesting. The final solution I produced to fit this brief was a special edition series of beer labels that celebrated the sustainability of Adnams through looking at how the company helps bees. Bees are such an important part of nature and caring for them is a step towards better sustainability.
The designs are produced using a traditional linocut method which links back to the history of Adnams. Additionally the labels are printed on seeded paper so rather than them going to waste once the drink is finished they are designed to easily peel off and be planted, growing into wildflowers for the bees. Each image depicted on the labels also relates to one of the many interesting stories about Adnams of the past as they look forward to an even more sustainable future.
