Alice In Wonderland
This poster design is one of my earliest experiences of screen printing which I thoroughly enjoyed working on. Time was the inspiration for this illustrative piece. I began by looking at how time is portrayed in films we remember from childhood and how time is passing. I was influenced greatly by Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and how Alice existed between two worlds.
The design I produced depicted the inner workings of a clock with the Mad Hatter's hat perched on the side to represent the interaction of fantasy with the real world. I chose a steampunk theme to relate to those who may remember the story as a child growing up.
